Malacañang has appointed four undersecretaries to the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) under Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar. The new officials are Jose Ramon Aliling, Roberto Juanchito Dispo, Henry Yap and Garry de Guzman. Aliling is the former CEO and president of Jose Aliling Construction Management Group. He was tasked to carry on the construction management, engineering, and technical requirements of DHSUD. Aliling got his civil engineering degree from De La Salle University. Dispo is an investment banker and a member of the Metrobank Group advisory board. Previously the vice chair of New San Jose Builders Inc., he is a graduate of San Sebastian College and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. Yap, on the other hand, has held several positions at leading land developers, including Robinsons Land Corp. Formerly with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority, he is a product of the University of the Philippines. De Guzman, a former Department of Transportation undersecretary, graduated from San Beda College.
