DND spokesperson tests positive for COVID-19

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of National Defense (DND) spokesperson Arsenio Andolong tested positive for COVID-19, his office announced on Wednesday.

“This is to inform you that Dir. Arsenio R. Andolong, Defense Communications Service Chief, tested positive for COVID-19,” the DND told reporters.

Andolong is currently quarantined and experiencing symptoms.

Last June, DND officer-in-charge and senior undersecretary Jose Faustino Jr. also tested positive for the virus.
