Classes suspended in Olongapo City due to Karding
OLONGAPO CITY – The Olongapo City government suspended classes in all levels in public and private schools for Monday, Sept. 26, due to Super Typhoon Karding (international name: Noru).
Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. announced the suspension on Sunday, Sept. 25, and also advised residents to prepare for the effects of Karding.
Karding was spotted some 175 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon before noon Sunday and is expected to trigger heavy rain and strong wind in Central Luzon.
Some parts of Central Luzon, including Zambales province, were placed under Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 as heavy to intense rains are expected to be experienced in these areas.
