MANILA, Philippines — Some parts of Luzon will experience overcast skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms on Monday due to the effects of the southwest monsoon or habagat, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
In its advisory released Sunday, Pagasa said habagat will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro, and the northern portion of Palawan including the Kalayaan Islands.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have fair weather with partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, said Pagasa.
No gale warnings were also raised in any of the country’s seaboards.
