MANILA, Philippines — The entire country will enjoy fair weather on Sunday as the effects of the southwest monsoon or “habagat” have weakened, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
“Para sa Metro Manila at nalalabing bahagi ng bansa, asahan natin ang fair weather maliban na nga lang sa isolated thunderstorms na madalas tuwing hapon at gabi,” said weather specialist Veronica Torres in a public weather forecast.
(For Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country, we expect a fair weather condition with isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon and at night.)
In an earlier advisory, Pagasa said “the effect of the southwest monsoon has weakened” which could only affect the western section of Southern Luzon.
Meanwhile, Pagasa did not raise a gale warning in any seaboards nationwide.
