Active COVID-19 cases in Zambales drop to 34, but 1 new death logged

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Seven more virus-infected patients in this province recovered from COVID-19 on Tuesday, September 13, bringing the number of active infections down from 41 to 34.

According to the provincial health office, only one new COVID-19 case was added to its tally on the same day.

But the death toll related to the viral disease rose to 714 after a patient died due to COVID-19 complications.

The new batch of recoveries raised to 11,065 the number of patients in the province who were cleared of the disease. This represented 93.94 percent of the 12,253 COVID-19 cases reported since 2020.
