MANILA, Philippines — The 2022 bar examinations will be held in 14 local testing centers across the country, according to the Supreme Court.
Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa, 2022 bar exams chair, said this was in view of the high court’s continuous efforts to shift to digitization following the success of the 2020-2021 bar exam, the first digitized and localized test for aspiring lawyers.
Northern Manila, Southern Manila, Pasay City, Quezon City, and Taguig City will be the testing areas in the National Capital Region; Baguio City, Lipa City, and Naga City in Luzon; Northern and Southern Cebu City and Tacloban City in the Visayas; and Cagayan de Oro City, Davao City and Zamboanga City in Mindanao.
Approved bar candidates will receive two notifications in their Bar Personal Login Unified System (Bar PLUS)-registered email address: one informing them that their applications to take the 2022 bar examinations have been approved; and another informing them when the venue selection module is available in their Bar PLUS accounts.
The 2022 bar exams will be held on Nov. 9, 13, 16, and 20. In an earlier bar bulletin, the SC said the 2022 Bar exams would cover eight subjects.
The SC also released its syllabi on Remedial Law and Legal Ethics; Political and International Law; Criminal Law; Labor Law and Social Legislation; Civil Law and Mercantile Law.
