A MAN facing a frustrated homicide complaint was shot dead in barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City yesterday.
Arnel Colasito, 30, died of gunshot wounds in the head and body. He was a native of Poro town on Camotes Island.
Police said the case that the man was facing may have something to do with the attack.a
Found in the victim’s bag was a copy of the provincial prosecutor’s resolution on the case of frustrated homicide.
Senior Insp. Conrado Manatad, chief of the police station in barangay Mactan, said Colasito may have gone to Pajac to hide and evade arrest.
Colasito had been living for two weeks in his cousin’s house in barangay Bangkal.
Police said the man was walking home after buying vegetables from the market when he was killed.
