4 shabu peddlers fall in Calamba City

LUCENA CITY — Four alleged drug pushers yielded more than P19,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) after being arrested by police in two buy-bust operations on Wednesday, August 31, a report said Thursday.

Colonel Randy Glenn Silvio, Laguna police chief, said in a report that city police drug enforcers collared Solomon Saclute and Alvin Perez after the two allegedly sold a pack of shabu to a police agent in Barangay Real around 8:45 p.m.

The duo yielded two sachets of meth worth P10,200.

The police also collared Jay-e Mulinyawe and Dennis Pisigan in another drug sting in Barangay 2 around 5:45 p.m.

The suspects were in possession of five sachets of shabu worth P8,840.

The suspects were under police custody and are facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
