LEGAZPI CITY — A construction worker was shot and killed in Uson town in Masbate province on Saturday night, August 27, a report said Sunday.
Masbate police said in a report that while Allan Collado, 40, was working overtime at a construction site, three unidentified men approached and fired shots at him in Barangay (village) Sawang around 10 p.m.
The victim suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and died while being taken to Masbate Provincial Hospital.
Police recovered seven spent shells from a caliber 45 pistol at the crime scene.
Investigation is ongoing to identify the suspects and their motive for killing the victim.
