MANILA, Philippines — The entire country is expected to have fair weather over the weekend as there are no expected tropical cyclones seen in the next three days, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Thursday.

“Sa loob ng tatlong araw ay walang bagyo na maaaring mabuo o pumasok sa ating area of responsibility, kaya magiging maaliwalas ang ating weekend hanggang sa papasok na Lunes,” said Pagasa weather specialist Raymond Ordinario.

(For the next three days, there are no typhoons that will form and enter our area of responsibility.)

As for Friday weather, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.

Ordinario said the entire country on Friday would experience hot and humid weather in the morning and noon and a big chance of isolated rain showers in the afternoon and evening.

“Dito sa Luzon area, patuloy na aasahan ang mainit at maalinsangang panahon sa umaga hanggang tanghali at malaking tiyansa ng isolated rain showers or thunderstorms pagdating yan ng hapon o gabi,” he said.

(In the Luzon area, expect hot and humid weather in the morning and noon and a big chance of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.)

“Sa mga kababayan natin diyan sa Kabisayaan at Mindanao, asahan na natin ang maaliwalas na panahon, maliban na lamang sa isolated afternoon localized thunderstorms,” he added.

(For the residents of Visayas and Mindanao, expect fair weather except for isolated afternoon localized thunderstorms.)

Meanwhile, Pagasa did not also raise a gale warning in any seaboards nationwide.
