LUCENA CITY—A motorcycle rider died Thursday, August 18, in a road mishap in Bauan, Batangas, police said.
Edgar Añonuevo, of Bauan, was on his way home at 8:35 p.m. when his vehicle crashed into a concrete post in Barangay Manghinao Uno.
Añonuevo was thrown off the vehicle and landed on the ground with injuries.
He died while being taken to the Bauan General Hospital. Investigators said he was driving under the influence of liquor. INQ
