The Quezon police identified the arrested suspects as Federico Catarinin Jr., 47, and Pio Clemente Jr., 38. The two were on the drug watch list and street-level peddlers of illegal drugs.
Lieutenant Colonel Dandy Aguillar, Lopez police chief, and his team of anti-drug operatives collared the suspects around 3:30 a.m. after allegedly selling shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay Villahermosa.
Seized from the suspects were three plastic sachets of meth weighing 50 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P340,000.
The police said the confiscated meth has a street value of P1,020,000.
The police were tracking the source of the illegal drugs.
Both suspects were placed in police custody and will be charged of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
