Drug suspect falls in Lucena City bust

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested a drug suspect and seized some P53,000 worth of shabu here Saturday.
The arrested suspect was identified as Jonathan Pilar, 27, a resident of this city, Police Lieutenant Colonel Reynaldo Reyes, Lucena police chief, said in a report.
Anti-narcotic agents collared Pilar after he sold P500 worth of shabu to a police agent in Barangay (village) Ibabang Iyam at around 6:50 a.m.
Authorities seized six plastic sachets of shabu from Pilar.
Police tagged the suspect as included on the drug watch list as identified street-level peddler of illegal drugs.
The suspect was detained and is facing a formalcomplaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
