P3.4M shabu seized in Legazpi City buy-bust

LEGAZPI CITY—Two alleged big-time drug personalities were arrested and yielded P3.4 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) to authorities in a buy-bust operation on Thursday morning, August 11, in this city in Albay province.
Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said Erigen Villanueva and Mark Dave Lonsame were arrested at 10:53 a.m. in Barangay Bitano.
Anti-narcotics operatives from the local police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency recovered three knot-tied plastic bags with 550 grams of shabu from the suspects.
The suspects face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
