Village chief shot dead in Cagayan province
TUGUEGARAO CITY—A village chief in Rizal town, Cagayan province was killed Wednesday by unidentified gunmen, the police said.
Robert Cauilan De Ocampo, 50, of Barangay Anurturu was driving his truck when he was blocked and shot around 3 p.m. by motorcycle-riding men at Barangay Gumarueng in Piat town, also in Cagayan.

Investigators have yet to determine the motive behind the attack.
