Magpale: I was invited to event

HER presence in the Liberal Party event in Cordova town last week has no political color.

Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale said she attended the meeting because PB Member Arleigh Sitoy invited her and she saw nothing wrong with her wearing a  yellow shirt with the line “Kuyog ta bisan dili ta kauban” printed on it.

“I thought it was safe to go. We are not party mates because we are both not members of the Liberal party but together we will serve Cordova,” she told reporters.

Her presence in the event reinforced speculations that she will be running under LP in the 2013 elections.

Magpale said that she still had no final plans for the next elections. /Correspondent Carmel Loise Matus
