As part of its 25th anniversary celebration this month, Manila Water presented a photo exhibit with the theme “MANILA WATER: UNWAVERING” which features the untiring commitment of the company to put care in every drop of water being supplied to its customers.
Manila Water President and Chief Executive Officer Jocot De Dios led the ribbon-cutting ceremony and unveiling of the photo exhibit, along with MWSS Corporate Office Administrator Engr. Leonor Cleofas, Chief Regulator of the MWSS Regulatory Office Chief Regulator Atty. Patrick Lester Ty, Engr. Carina De Leon of the National Water Resources Board – Policy and Program Division, Assistant Department Head of the Quezon City Local Government Business Permit and Licensing Department Mr. Mike Velasco, and Mr. Luigi Pumaren who represented the office of his father Quezon City 3rd District Representative and House Deputy Majority Leader Franz Pumaren.
Showcasing 25 photos taken by celebrated Canadian adventure photographer Scott Woodward and local travel photographer Paul Quiambao, the photo exhibit reflects the company’s relentless drive to fulfill its purpose of transforming lives and building a better future.

Some of the subjects that were featured in the exhibit are Manila Water’s facilities, highlighting the company’s innovative technology, its partners and stakeholders, and the company’s flagship program “Tubig Para Sa Barangay” which was established to provide sustainable water to marginalized communities across the East Zone concession.
The images also depict the company’s core values of care, collaborations, excellence, tenacity, pioneering, and integrity, which serve as the company’s compass in doing business.
“We are unveiling a photo exhibit, 25 pictures cataloging 25 years, not chronologically, but through the values that we share in Manila Water. These photographs, hopefully, immortalize some of the very core values that we have as a Manila Water team together with our partners and collaborators,” says De Dios.
“Looking at some of the pictures, what really resonated with me are the ones with tenacity because tenacity denotes the struggle and the triumph that we gained from the struggles as a utility together with our partners for 25 years. I guess it gives us hope that we are looking toward 25 years of great success. Through the eyes of renowned photographers Scott Woodward and Paul Quiambao, outdoor photographers, hopefully we’re able to convey the emotions that have carried us through these 25 years, and hopefully more than that, the emotions that will propel us further in the next 25 years,” he added.
