DZIQ: 4.3 magnitude quake hits Naval, Biliran

MANILA, Philippines – A 4.3 magnitude quake hit the municipality of Naval in Biliran province Monday morning, a Radyo Inquirer report said.

The report cited the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) data on a magnitude-4.3 earthquake, 18 kilometers in depth, which happened six kilometres southwest of Naval at 6:29 a.m. Monday. It was considered a shallow quake, the report stated.

No one was injured during the earthquake and there were also no damages in infrastructure, according to the report.
