1 killed, 2 hurt in Camarines Sur road mishap

LEGAZPI CITY—A 58-year-old woman died while two motorcycle riders were injured in a road accident Sunday, August 7, in Minalabac town, Camarines Sur province.

In a report, police said Juanita Pillosis was crossing the road in Barangay Antipolo when a speeding motorcycle driven by Benigno Dela Torre, 57, hit her at 4:20 p.m.


The driver and his wife, Maribeth, the back rider, were injured.

They were taken to a hospital, but Pillosis died on the way.


The driver is now in the custody of the police.
