OVP opens 7th satellite office in Bacolod

The Office of the Vice President (OVP) has opened its seventh satellite office in Bacolod City, following the July 1 launch of its Zamboanga, Cebu, Davao, Tacloban, Tandag, and Dagupan offices.
On Thursday, Vice President Sara Duterte’s spokesperson Reynold Munsayac said the new office, which was inaugurated on August 1, would be at the Mosser Building inside the Goldenfields Complex.

Munsayac said this was part of Duterte’s goal to bring the OVP closer to the people.
Since its opening, the Bacolod extension office has helped some 200 people seeking medical and burial assistance. —Krixia Subingsubing
