Thieves take more than P200K from Iloilo gas station

SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, Antique – More than P200,000 in cash were stolen by two thieves who ransacked a gasoline station in Barangay (village) Sinogbuhan, San Joaquin town in Iloilo on Wednesday.

According to Police Lt. Col. Dionisio Estacio, San Joaquin Municipal Police Station chief, the suspects took P212,500 from the cash register of the Seaside Fuel Gas Station owned by Joaquin Sasana.

The robbery was captured by surveillance footage.

The San Joaquin police recovered the cash register near the gas station, but the money is already gone.

Police said the suspects fled towards the town of San Joaquin on board a motorcycle.
