SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, Antique – A suspected drug pusher was arrested in a drug bust operation in Jaro town, Iloilo on Thursday.
The suspect was identified as Jonel “Mahal” Hulipa.
According to Police Major Shella Mae Sangrines, spokesperson of the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO), Hulipa was caught after selling a sachet of suspected shabu (methamphetamine) worth P12,000.
Also seized from the suspect’s possession were 20 large sachets of drugs and seven small sachets weighing 101 grams with an estimated market value of P686,800.
The suspect is presently under custody of Jaro police and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
