Zambales posts 1 COVID-19 death, 13 new cases

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—The active COVID-19 cases in this province climbed to 88 after registering 17 new infections, local health data showed on Tuesday, August 2.

The provincial health office showed the new COVID-19 cases were in Botolan, San Narciso, Sta. Cruz, San Felipe, and Cabangan towns.

Data also showed that a virus-infected patient in the province had died, raising to 703 the death toll.

Since 2020, Zambales had logged 11,952 CCOVID-19 cases. At least 11,161 of them had recovered. INQ
