Gunman slays female senior citizen in Iloilo town

Policemen are going after the person who gunned down a female senior citizen in Sitio Tigbao-Tupas, Barangay Pili, Ajuy town, Iloilo last Saturday.

SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, Antique — Policemen are going after the person who gunned down a female senior citizen in Sitio Tigbao-Tupas, Barangay Pili, Ajuy town, Iloilo last Saturday.

Ledia Baiggan, a 61-year-old resident of the area, suffered fatal gunshot wounds to her chest.

PLt. General Enrique Robles, officer-in-charge of the Ajuy Municipal Police Station (MPS), said the victim went out of her house when she heard the barking of dogs.
