Widow busted for drug pushing in Quezon

LUCENA CITY – A 63-year-old widow was arrested for alleged drug pushing on Friday in Tiaong town in Quezon province, police said Saturday.

Police report identified the suspect as Aleli Adolantre, known to drug user clients as “Nanay Lily”.

Anti-illegal drug operatives collared the widow after she allegedly sold P500 worth of shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in Barangay (village) Lusacan around 11:03 p.m.

Authorities confiscated five sachets of meth with a street value of P48,068.

Police said the suspect was included on its drug watch list as a street-level peddler of shabu.

The suspect was detained and is now facing complaints for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
