Pampanga’s capital city logs 35 new COVID-19 cases

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — The City of San Fernando registered 35 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, July 29, data from the local government’s health office showed.

The capital city also recorded 26 recoveries and zero deaths as its active cases rose to 224 on the same day.

The new cases include residents from Dolores village (7), Telabastagan (5), and Calulut (4).

The villages of Bulaon, Del Carmen, Del Rosario, Dela Paz Sur, Malpitic, and Sindalan have two new cases each, while Alasas, Del Rosario, Magliman, Quebiawan, Saguin, San Agustin, and San Nicolas reported having a single case each.

Dolores remains to have the most active cases at 32, followed by San Agustin with 26, and Sindalan and Telabastagan with 18 each.

San Fernando has recorded a total of 14,928 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic started in 2020. Of these, 14,358 have recovered while 346 had died.
