Police sought help from the owner of one of the suspects’ rented vehicles, which was later tracked through GPS.

According to PNP, the car’s location also led them to the house where the victim was being held.

Nine suspects, with seven Chinese nationals among them, were arrested by police after they were caught guarding the said area.

PNP officer-in-charge Vicente Danao Jr. said they would contact police authorities in China to move forward with the case.
