Son of house helper, driver is Top 8 among criminology licensure exam passers

TAGBILARAN CITY — A son of a house helper and a driver made it to the top 10 in the recent criminology licensure examination.

Crisiolo Macas Langamen Jr., a graduate of Trinidad Municipal College (TMC) in Trinidad town, was one of the 12,698 examinees who passed the examination held in 19 testing centers in the country last June 19.

He occupied the eighth spot with an average of 88.30 percent.

Langamen, 25, is the third child of six siblings of Crisiolo Sr, a former driver; and Maria Zona, a housekeeper of Dagohoy town in Bohol.

Langamen shared that he did not receive any award when he was a student.

He finished elementary at the Dagohoy Central Elementary School and proceeded to the Dagohoy National High School.

“It’s mindset, prayer and sacrifice. Stop saying I wish. Start saying, I will,” Langamen told Bohol Balita Daily News when asked about his recipe for success.
