MANILA, Philippines — Over 2.8 million students have so far enrolled for School Year 2022-2023 after the enrollment period kicked off last Monday, according to the Department of Education (DepEd).

DepEd spokesman Atty. Michael Tan Poa said the turnout is better this year compared to last year where only 200,000 students enrolled on the first day.
