MANILA, Philippines — A low pressure area (LPA) is set to bring overcast skies with rains in many parts of the country on Tuesday, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

The said LPA is located 255 kilometers north northeast of Borongan City, Eastern Samar as of 3 pm, according to Pagasa’s latest weather bulletin.

Pagasa said Bicol Region, Palawan, Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula and Northern Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers or thunderstorms which could cause possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

On the other hand, Metro Manila and the rest of the country are expecting a fair weather condition with partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

The state weather bureau did not also raise gale warning to any seaboards nationwide.
