USC/RDAK downs CVIRAA selection
THE UNIVERSITY OF SAN CARLOS/RDAK remained undefeated in the 2012 ThreeSixty Pharmacy Cup after they disposed of the CVIRAA Selection, 60-54, in overtime in the 19-under division yesterday at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu basketball courts.
USC improved to a league-leading 3-0 (win-loss) record as the team was led by the 14 points of wingman Anthony Romaguerra and the 11 of big man Justin Jaca.
The CVIRAA Selection, a team that is priming for the competition that awaits in the Palarong Pambansa, was led by the 12 of National High School Basketball Championships MVP Julius Cadavis and Henry Asilum, who added 11.
In other games, the University of the Visayas improved to 2-1 after they edged the Symmetry Fitness Center/University of San Jose-Recoletos, 55-53. Adgers also notched their second win in three games after they blasted the Forum, 89-53. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
