12 domestic flights cancelled due to bad weather

MANILA, Philippines—Bad weather caused the cancellation of 12 domestic flights from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport’s Terminal 3 on Sunday, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said.

All canceled flights were of the Cebu Pacific, said an MIAA list furnished the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

They included flights 5J895 and 5J893, all bound for Caticlan, Aklan, and coming from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport’s Terminal 3.

Also canceled were two return flights from Caticlan: 5J898 and 5J894.

Other canceled Cebu Pacific flights: 5J821 bound for Virac, and its return flight 5J822; 5J325 bound for Legazpi City and its return flight 5J326; 5J508 bound for Tuguegarao and its return flight 5J509; and 5J 529 bound for Busuanga, northern Palawan, and its return flight 5J 529.

Two Cebu Pacific flights were delayed: 5J711 bound for Catarman, northern Samar; and 5J521 bound for Naga City.

Bad weather also delayed the departure of three Air Philippines flights from the NAIA Terminal 3: 2P045 and 2P047, both bound for Caticlan, and 2P025 bound for Legazpi City.

No outbound flights coming from NAIA Terminals 1 and 2 were canceled or delayed, said the MIAA media affairs office.
