LEGAZPI CITY — Six drug suspects were arrested on Thursday (July 21) in a buy-bust operation at an alleged drug den in this city, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said Friday.

Cotton Yuson, information officer of PDEA Bicol, said alleged drug den operator Ryan Rivero was arrested along with his visitors, identified as Jeven Jamulin, Anthony Benitez, John Roy Alilano, Kobe Cordivilla, and Josa Bulawan, during an operation at Wacky’s Resto Bar at 12:10 a.m.

The PDEA agents recovered nine sachets of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P102,000, a long aluminum strip, an improvised aluminum toother, used crumpled aluminum foil, a sachet with residue of suspected shabu, and other drug tools.

The suspects are now in the custody of PDEA and will face charges for violations of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
