3 pushers yield P680,000 shabu in Antipolo sting

LUCENA CITY—Police seized P680,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) from three suspected drug pushers on Wednesday, July 20, in Antipolo City.

Abdul Barazar, Ronald dela Cruz, and Yoshihara Narabe were collared in a buy-bust in Barangay Inarawan at 4:15 a.m., the regional police reported Thursday.

Authorities seized 110 gramps of shabu in five sachets and a plastic bag.

The police were tracking the source of the illegal drugs.

In Lucena, anti-illegal drugs operatives nabbed Romeo Maranan Jr., Chona Jacinto, and Edwin Beles in a sting operation at 9:57 p.m. Wednesday, in Barangay Ibabang Dupaya, Lieutenant Colonel Reynaldo Reyes, city police chief, reported.

The suspects yielded six sachets of meth worth P61,200 in the street market .

They were detained and face a complaint for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
