Osaka forecasts 22,000 new coronavirus cases

OSAKA — A record approximately 22,000 new cases of people testing positive for the novel coronavirus was reported in Osaka Prefecture on Tuesday, Osaka Gov. Hirofumi Yoshimura said at a press conference held at the Osaka prefectural government.

The previous record was 15,291 on Feb. 11.
