MANILA, Philippines — Generally fair weather is expected to prevail over the entire country on Wednesday, with chances of rain due to thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, said the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
“Para sa magiging lagay ng panahon bukas asahan natin ang generally improving weather conditions sa malaking bahagi ng Luzon kasama ang Metro Manila,” said Pagasa weather specialist Ana Clauren in a weather report on Tuesday.
(For tomorrow’s weather, we expect generally improving weather conditions in large parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila.)
“Medyo mainit na po ang mararanasan sa dakong tanghali at may tiyansa pa rin ng thunderstorms pagsapit ng hapon at gabi,” she added.
(It will be a bit hot at noon and there is still a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.)
The same generally fair weather will also prevail over Visayas and Mindanao. However, Clauren warned that short-lived rain may still occur in the afternoon and evening due to localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, no storms or low-pressure areas (LPA) are expected to enter or form within the country’s area of responsibility in the next 24 hours, according to Clauren.
No gale warning is also raised in the country’s surrounding coasts, but moderate to rough sea conditions are expected over the northern seaboards of Luzon.
