Japan logs all-time high COVID-19 cases

TOKYO — The number of people in Japan infected with the novel coronavirus had hit an all-time high of over 108,000 as of 6:10 p.m. Saturday, according to a Yomiuri Shimbun tally, surpassing the previous record-high of 104,202 on February 5.
