MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – The capital city of San Fernando in Pampanga recorded 111 Covid-19 cases on Friday, July 15, from only 91 cases on July 14, data from the city health office showed.

The city government registered 32 new COVID-19 cases, 12 recoveries and zero deaths on Friday.

The new cases include eight residents of Dolores village, three from Santa Lucia, and two each from Alasas, Del Rosario, Juliana, Lara, San Agustin, and Sto. Nino. The villages of Baliti, Bulaon, Calulut, Lourdes, Magliman, San Nicolas, Sindalan, and Telabastagan registered each a single case.

Of the capital city’s 35 villages, 26 have now cases of the viral disease.

The city government has been urging everyone to continue to wear face masks in public places, observe physical distancing and frequent hand washing.

The city government, in a post on its official Facebook page, also reminded locals to stay at home unless they have important business outside to avoid getting infected.

Since the pandemic started in 2020, the capital city has registered a total of 14,618 COVID-19 cases of which 14,165 have recovered while 342 had died.
