Seven teams compete in Power Forty hoops

SEVEN teams will be seeing action in the Power Forty-2012, First Conference basketball tournament which starts on March 24 at 7:30 a.m. at the Emilio Jaca Memorial gym.

Highlighting the opening will be the game between the Power Forty All-Stars against the Rama Boys Barkada.

Cebu City Mayor Michael L. Rama will grace the opening program which will also feature the search for the Best Muse who will declared as Miss Power Forty of 2012.

The 7 competing teams are Allyn and Sons, Park N’ Go, Alfa Electrical, Ang Tibay Mo, UTASSCO, Water Market and Jenjic Commando.

After the opening game, Mayor Rama will also induct the newly-elected officers of Power Forty Basketball Club headed by Romy Rama, Bob Samson (VP), Danny Lisondra (Secretary), Dads Ramil (Treasurer), Fredil Tantoy (Auditor), Edwin Dejacto (Commissioner), Nilo Nuñez and Tito Dimitiman (Peace & Order) and the members of the Board of Directors, Jingjing Rama, Romy Rama, Glen Rama, Nelly Cabase, Chino Kalinga, Edgar Nacario, Bob Samson, lawyer Flor Yosores, John Tantay, Vez Eleguin and Fredil Tantoy. /Correspondent Dale Rosal
