MANILA, Philippines — The office of Vice President Sara Duterte on Tuesday warned the public against Facebook accounts purporting to be legitimate accounts of the Office of the Vice President (OVP).
OVP spokesman Reynold Munsayac said the OVP does not yet have any Facebook accounts as it is still in the process of updating its official website.
“The public is hereby warned of fake Office of the Vice President and Satellite Offices Facebook Accounts. There are no OVP FB accounts,” he said in a statement.
“The OVP is in the process of updating the official government OVP website which will hold all information about the OVP,” Munsayac added.
For now, Munsayac said the activities of Duterte will be posted on her official Facebook account “Inday Sara Duterte,” her Twitter account @indaysara (Sara Duterte), and Instagram @indaysaraduterte.
