BOC turned over seized fuel to PCG for daily operations
MANILA, Philippines — Over 6,300 liters of seized automotive diesel has been handed to the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) to be used for its daily operations, the agency reported on Tuesday.
PCG said the fuel, which totals to 6,375.8 liters, was seized by the Bureau of Customs from a gasoline station in Pampanga during a random field and confirmatory testing conducted in September 2021.
The seized fuel was officially turned over to the PCG last July 8 in Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga.
“The BOC and PCG signed the Deed of Donation and Acceptance for the Coast Guard to utilize the said resource in its daily operations,” the PCG said in a press release. – Xander Dave Ceballos, INQUIRER.net intern
