LEGAZPI CITY — An alleged drug gang member and another drug suspect were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in the provinces of Sorsogon and Camarines Sur on Saturday night, July 9, report said Sunday.

In Casiguran town in Sorsogon, Bryan Hagosojos, 26, was arrested in Barangay (village) Central at around 11:40 p.m.

Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said Hagosojos was a member of Giray Drug Group and included in the illegal drugs watch list in the province.

Police recovered a sachet of shabu (crystal meth) weighing 2.2 grams worth P14,960.

In Camarines Sur, Jerick Ulanday, 35, was also arrested in Barangay Pacol in Naga City at around 7:30 p.m.

Police Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said anti-narcotics operatives confiscated four sachets of shabu worth P3,060 from the suspect.

Ulanday was also included in the illegal drugs watch list.

The suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
