MANDAUE POLICE LAUDED

CHIEF Supt. Marcelo Garbo made a surprise visit to Mandaue City Police Office yesterday and commended the men there for complying with police programs.

“We are focusing on the Police Integrated Patrol System (PIPS) and tourist police programs,” he said.

Policemen were able to speak directly with the police regional chief director to air their concerns.

Senior Supt. Noel Gillamac, chief of MCPO, whom the Mandaue City Council wants to stay on after his two-year tour of duty, said he declined to extend his tenure to pursue career advancement and allow others the chance to be Mandaue police chief.
