THE official weigh-in for the protagonists of the Pinoy Knockout fight card will be held today noon at the J Center Mall in Mandaue City.
The double main event features former WBO superflyweight champion Marvin Sonsona who will fight Carlos Fulgencio of the Dominican Republic and the WBO world youth flyweight title duel between Froilan Saludar and Alejandro Morales of Mexico.
This boxing promotion will also have a championship fight involving the vacant Philippine light welterweight crown between Adonis Cabalquinto and Dan Nazareno.
The weigh-in proceedings is expected to start at 11 a.m. followed by a press conference at 12 noon at the same venue.
The inaugural staging of Pinoy Knockout will be held at the Hoops Dome in Lapu-Lapu City on Saturday, March 17. It will be aired on AKTV and is presented by Sampson Boxing LLC and SGG Promotions. /Correspondent Rene Bonsubre Jr.
