MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Wednesday.
In a Facebook post, Duterte said she and Wang talked about how to further strengthen the friendship between their countries.
“We met this afternoon with H.E Wang Yi, State Councilor and Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China, to talk about how to further strengthen the friendship of our countries,” she wrote in Filipino
Earlier in the day, Wang also paid a courtesy call on President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
