4 suspected drug pushers yield P43,000 shabu in Quezon
LUCENA CITY—Anti-narcotics agents arrested four alleged drug suspects with more than P43,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) during separate buy-bust operations on Monday, July 4, in Tayabas and this city.
Lieutenant Colonel Reynaldo Reyes, Lucena police chief, said in a report Tuesday that anti-narcotics men collared Dale Cyvee Raras and Jayson De Mesa in a buy-bust operation at around 10:45 p.m. in Barangay Ibabang Dupay.
Authorities seized two sachets of meth worth P23,256 in the street market.
Raras and De Mesa were on the police drugs watch list.
In another drug sting around 9 p.m. in neighboring Tayabas City, the police reported that they arrested Redon Mendoza and Rexon Gabiola.
Article continues after this advertisementThe suspects, both newly identified drug pushers, yielded four sachets of shabu worth P20,400 in the street market.
The suspects are now detained and are facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
