Australian, American among 4 new COVID cases in Olongapo
OLONGAPO CITY — Four new COVID-19 cases were recorded in this city, data from the City Health Office showed Monday, July 4.
The new patients were a 52-year-old woman from Barangay Asinan, a 55-year-old Australian man from Barangay Barretto, a 22-year-old woman from Barangay Kalalake, and a 60-year-old American woman from Barangay Sta. Rita.
According to the local COVID-19 task force, the new cases raised to eight the number of active infections in this city.
The total number of COVID-19 cases registered here has already reached 7,017, with 351 deaths since 2020 while around 6,658 have recovered from the viral disease.
Local healthcare workers were also monitoring four suspected COVID-19 cases as of Monday. INQ
