Quezon City assessor testifies at Corona impeachment trial

MANILA, Philippines—Rodolfo  Ordanes of the Assessor’s Office of Quezon City  started testifiying late afternoon on  Thursday for the defense team  in relation to  properties allegedly owned by Chief Justice Renato Corona  in  that city.

Defense lawyer Tranquil Salvador was conducting the direct examination of the witness.

Earlier, Salvador said Ordanes would testify on the properties in the Quezon City that the Chief Justice  declared  in his  2010 statement of assets, liabilities and net worth.
