LEGAZPI CITY, Albay, Philippines  — Anti-drug agents arrested a big-time drug suspect and his two cohorts in a buy-bust in this city on Wednesday, June 29, and seized from them P3.4 million worth of crystal meth, locally known as shabu.

The operation was conducted by members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in the Bicol Region in Barangay Padang at 5:20 p.m.

They identified the suspects as Ryan Arandia, 40, Helin Fajardo, 18, and Donmerwin Santiago, 29.

According to the report, Arandia was previously convicted for a drug-related case and was included on the watch list for illegal drugs.

The agents also seized from the suspects two knot-tied plastic bags and two sachets of shabu weighing 500 grams.

The suspects will face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
